A new definition for low voltage relay control to compliment our dimmer systems
The fully integrated DMX electronics in our relay systems allows control of all relays from theatrical control devices such as control consoles and show controllers. Local override of the relays is available through connection of standard low voltage switches.

Dimming Fluorescent becoming the norm High-frequency dimming fluorescent lighting was previously regarded as a costly 'special' and had it's problems initially. Now it is within everyone's economic reach and runs efficiently and troublefree. HF operation on electronic ballasts saves typically 25-30% of energy cost of a standard ballast - which is by far the largest element of total lighting costs. With the addition of a HF dimming control system, the energy cost saving can often reach as much as 50%. |
Highlighted Projects EnOcean HVAC Controls Neutralize Highest Electricity Rate in the United States Read more about it from Business Wire Echoflex develops products for the commercial building automation market with specific focus on lighting and HVAC controls. Echoflex products are based upon a revolutionary new wireless technology from Europe called EnOcean that integrates innovations in energy harvesting and energy storage with low power radio technologies. Combining advances in these technological elements onto a single radio platform created a platform for the world’s first truly sustainable control solutions. Echoflex products fit very well into this market by addressing the “last 10 meters of a control system”, the space where people live and work. Leveraging the advantages that distributed wireless controls offer, facilities can increase the integration between HVAC systems, lighting and occupancy controls. Adopting needs based operational processes is a logical, energy efficient extension of these networked systems. Echoflex develops automation solutions with energy conservation as the primary focus. To save energy, power that is being consumed must be turned off when it is not needed. To achieve this goal efficiently and eliminate human intervention, automation must take a role in the process. The automation solutions that Echoflex develops are based on a distributed model. Through distributing the control elements room by room or circuit by circuit, a tight weave of control is created making it more efficient and improving energy savings.

A breakthrough lighting technology that is generating widespread interest and enthusiasm from scientists, industry experts, utility companies, and lighting product distributors As the lighting industry transitions away from incandescent to more energy-friendly alternatives such as CFL or LED, there appears to be a new type of energy efficient lightbulb that’s more environmentally friendly (with no mercury) and produces a warmer light that’s pleasing to the eye—and it’s called the ESL. ESL is short for Electron Stimulated Luminescence, which uses accelerated electrons in a spray to stimulate phosphor to create light and it is fully dimmable. Read more about the technology here. Vu1 Corporation of Seattle, WA has released an eight minute video that features a demonstration of ESL, a side by side feature comparison with CFLs and LEDs, and interviews with lighting and energy industry experts. It’s produced by Vu1, so it obviously favours the ESL technology, but it might be the next generation of lamp heading your way. Designing and making objects for 110 years.
