Illumination is the only thing that can transform space without physically changing it.  With techniques learned and developed over many years Bernard & Associates have been involved with dramatic lighting designs and installations in one form or another that enhance space and perception and prove that many of these installations didn’t have to be complicated – the firm’s designers have often achieved spectacular effects with simple techniques and choosing the right fixtures for the application.

For over 25 years Bernard & Associates has worked on a huge variety of projects throughout Canada and the United States. • • Vancouver Olympic Centre/Vancouver Paralympic Centre at Hillcrest Park

    • - Bernard & Associates worked with Stantec Engineering to design the pool deck perimeter lighting for the 50 metre lap pool and coloured accent lighting for the leisure pool. In order to meet this requirement along with the LEED standard; the  Strand SL ellipsoidal fixture using a ceramic metal halide lamp was chosen

    • - We have now completed the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre, it has Strand A21 dimmers for aisle light control, SL fixtures as overhead aisles lights, Stagecraft Emergency transfer cabinets, and 24 LiteTouch NEO dimmers in the box suites.
